Mount Abang, the highest peak of the Mount Batur caldera, stands at an impressive 2,152 meters above sea level in the northeast of Mount Batur. Embark on an unforgettable hiking adventure through a lush, tropical forest, taking approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the summit. The journey begins with a 90-minute walk along a relatively flat path, followed by a challenging uphill track that can be quite slippery. It’s essential to wear sturdy hiking shoes for this trek.
As you navigate the slippery ascent, the breathtaking views awaiting you at the top will make it all worthwhile. While Mount Abang is less frequented on Bali Hiking Tours due to its high rainfall and frequent cloud cover, clear weather reveals spectacular vistas. From the summit, you can marvel at the majestic peak of Rinjani in Lombok, the towering Mount Agung (Bali’s highest mountain), and to the west, the stunning Mount Batur and its serene lake. If you’re fortunate enough to catch a clear day, the panoramic views from Mount Abang are truly awe-inspiring.

- 01.00 AM – 02.00 AM : Pick up at your hotel
- 02.30 AM : Arrive at Mount Abang trekking start point and trek to peak of mount Abang is begin
- 05.30 AM : Arrived at peak of mount Abang
- 06.00 AM : Having your breakfast package while enjoy the sunrise and panorama view surround this peak
- 07.00 AM : Trip down and back to the car park
- 09.00 AM : Arrived at finish point
- 09.30 AM : Visit Coffee Plantation or just drop back to your hotel
Day Trekking :
- 06.30 AM – 08.00 AM : Pick up at your hotel
- 08.15 AM : Arrived at trekking start point then start for walking up to the peak of Mount Abang
- 11.15 AM : Arrived at peak of Mount Abang, this time we will served coffee break include of hot drink tea and coffee, cookies, snack and some fresh fruit.
- 12.00 PM : Walking down and back to car park
- 14.00 PM : Arrive at finish point
- 15.00 PM : Visit Coffee Plantation or just drop back to your hotel
On the way we back to the hotel we able to visit coffee plantation, and you can combine your tour with other activities, just let us know!
